  • 2 pounds steak, cubed
  • 4 large potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Brown the steak cubes and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Layer diced potatoes in the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Place the browned steak on top of the potatoes.
  4. Add chopped onions, minced garlic, and beef broth.
  5. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or until potatoes are tender.
  6. During the last 30 minutes of cooking, stir in sour cream and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
