- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 pound flank steak
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add shrimp to the skillet, cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add olive oil and heat over medium-high. Season steak with thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Cook steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Remove from heat and let rest.
- In a pot, boil potatoes until tender, then drain. Mash potatoes and mix in milk and sour cream until creamy.
- Slice steak and serve with garlic shrimp and mashed potatoes.
