  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 pound flank steak
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons sour cream

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  2. Add shrimp to the skillet, cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add olive oil and heat over medium-high. Season steak with thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Cook steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. Remove from heat and let rest.
  5. In a pot, boil potatoes until tender, then drain. Mash potatoes and mix in milk and sour cream until creamy.
  6. Slice steak and serve with garlic shrimp and mashed potatoes.
