12 ounces penne pasta
2 cups broccoli florets
1 pound chicken breast, diced
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
Instructions
Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and season with salt and pepper. Cook until golden brown and cooked through.
Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Add the broccoli florets and cook until they are bright green and tender.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and mix until creamy.
Toss the cooked penne pasta into the skillet and combine well with the sauce.
Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
