  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground turkey
  • 4 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Take a small amount of the meat mixture and flatten it in your palm. Place a piece of mozzarella cheese and some crumbled bacon in the center, then wrap the meat around the filling to form a meatball.
  4. Place the meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
