  • 2 pounds potatoes
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then crumble it.
  3. Layer the sliced potatoes in a baking dish, sprinkling onion, garlic, and bacon in between the layers.
  4. In a bowl, mix together the cream, cheese, salt, pepper, and thyme; pour over the potato layers.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
