  • 1 pound turkey bacon, chopped
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can corn, drained
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 10 ounces frozen tater tots

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy.
  2. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned.
  3. Transfer the mixture to the slow cooker.
  4. Add black beans, corn, diced tomatoes, and seasonings to the slow cooker.
  5. Stir to combine all ingredients.
  6. Top with frozen tater tots.
  7. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  8. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, omit meat and double the beans.
